Super Division Wars

A COLOSSAL piece of work I did a while back. Seriously, this is humongous. Download the full size or you'll probably miss most of the details.

Being the GIGANTIC super robot fanboy that I am, and especially of Super Robot Wars in general, it was only a matter of time before I did a collective picture of every single one of the mechas I've used in all of my works.

Starting from the bottom, on the right, we have Alexander J. Darkbreaker and his fellow Super Robot fan from the Division, James Crimson (who incidentally just returned to us after a six-plus month real life disappearance, so here's to him!) and their combined summon, the overlord of shadows and steel...STAND! KAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIISEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER HADEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

Next to them, stands William Blaydze, another mecha fan from the Division, with one of his mechs, the Vanguard the Crimson! Considering his preferred mechs are themed around Armored Cores, the logo on the front of Vanguard's helm should have special significance to anyone who's survived the Armored Core games. XD

Next to them, his back to the camera, is the man who qualifies as a Super Robot himself, cranking out enough over-the-top power and damage to make the cut easily! I give you Walter Black, member of CARDINAL and the Iron King of the North!

Finally, to the far left, we have Ace Phoenix and Vent of the Guardians (As in Vent from Megaman ZX and ZXA. YES THAT VENT) from my premier work of fanfiction, the Omega Chronicles, following the tale of the God of Destruction, Omega, upon waking up after the events of ZX Advent. Their 'mecha' of sorts, behind them, should be familiar to anyone with half a childhood as the infamous OMNIMON of Digimon fame. Or as he appears in the Chronicles, Omnimon ZX! For further details on how the hell this even happened, go read the fic, or ask anyone who has. Be warned, you may not get a sane answer, as they may spend a good bit of time squeeing and or crowing about how mindblowingly epic that chapter was.

Then above that row, directly in the center, is another contender from the Omega Chronicles! Ace mechanic Kitara Nekonomicon on the left and the well-known busty beauty that is Legion's premier weapons dealer, Vix Vexen Vixene! And the legendary machine they're standing atop is the Lamborghini/insert-epic-car-of-choice-here headed Ultras ATX! And if you don't know what THAT is a shout-out to, you really need to ask yourself what you've been doing with your life up to now. Seriously.

Above that, on the right again, we have the mocking figure of the A.C.E of Eternity's End, or by his full title, the Anti-Cardinal Entity. A mysterious man, hidden behind myths and legend, the only things identifiable about him are his brilliant scarlet overcoat, burning blue eyes...and the Alpha Cyberkinetic Enigma, a mech so colossal it can only ever partially emerge from the alternate dimension in which it is stored. Small wonder that to this day, he remains the only being capable of trolling the ENTIRETY of CARDINAL, as well as the Division to boot.

Next to him, hanging off the side of the page are the Darkbreaker's butler, the infamous Martial K. Hammer. Formerly designed as a robotic butler, he took matters into his own hands when a viral plague turned his homeworld into a zombie-infested nightmare. Augmenting himself with the remains of the mechanical biodome that had once been his beloved mistress' home city, he set forth on a mission of extermination, wiping out every last trace of life on the planet down to the bacterial level. Now he serves as the Darkbreaker's chief of staff back in Castle Eterna, enjoying his peaceful life as a butler once more...save for his occasional sparring matches with Sir Destiny, and being nagged senseless by the blatant fangirling of the Castle's head of engineering, Cyan, who is next to him here.

On the other side of the picture, we have Division members Leroy Mizu and Tertra, combining their magical masteries to at long last resurrect the ancient Relic Fortress that has been Leroy's base for so long. Requiring a wielder capable of mastering every element of magic in existence, neither of them alone could suffice to awaken it. But once it had finally been restored, their powers combined were finally enough to awaken the slumbering titan: The Inter-Dimensional Godfortress, EXCANNON! Able to twist and rend space itself as it sees fit, and armed with a staggering array of arcanotech weaponry, EXCANNON is truly one of the highest tier of mechs I've ever created.

And finally, because it just wouldn't be complete without the resident wildcard of Eternity's End, Alekzander Za Cyberbreaker puts in a guest appearance...along with two of his Super Robot girls! The sheepish looking one up in the left corner with the impressively large chest mounted fuel tanks is Melchizedek, his fast attack unit. Like all of his girls, she was once just a particularly advanced example of her machine type, as a fast attack corvette. However, thanks to the natural aura of the Cyberbreaker as a Mechadeus, or literally 'machine god', any machine or AI with enough intelligence to become sentient, comes to life under his touch. That is the power of 'Synchronous Sentience', the power to breathe life into any sufficiently advanced machinery. Having taken on this new form, Melchizedek retains her outrageous speed, often going ahead of the Cyberbreaker's ship to wreak havoc behind enemy lines, softening them up before his main assault arrives.

...and then, poking her head down from the top of the page in a trademark example of her trademark, childish randomness...is Melchior. The unspoken black sheep of Cyberbreaker's girls, Melchior is, at best, a lunatic. Based on a prototype antimatter wielding mobile weapon, her combat AI was unstable to begin with, not understanding why it should bother differentiating friend from foe. At least, that was the case until the Cyberbreaker, planning to steal the prototype, got pissed off by it's childish, tantrum-like behavior, and punched the living hell out of it. It was at this point he first became aware of his power as a Mechadeus, the battered prototype becoming a bewildered, scared-looking mechanical girl.

...the scared bit didn't last long though. For the first time, Melchior found someone who could take the punishment she could dish out, someone who was unafraid to tell her enough was enough, and to stop her when she went too far. So she promptly adopted the confused Cyberbreaker as her Onii-chan/future husband and to this day no-one's been able to convince her that the two are ENTIRELY different things.

Cyberbreaker's trump card, Melchior is a DEMON on the battlefield, her antimatter control capabilities allowing her to destroy nearly anything with but a clench of her fist...but she prefers slinging the stuff around in black spheres of destruction. Apparently she thinks it's more fun.
